Византийская красавица, образованная и одарённая, принцесса Анна, должна покинуть родной дом, город и страну, стать женой язычника Владимира, имевшего много жён, жить в дикой и холодной стране, за морем. Ее судьба — принести цивилизацию и христианство в чужую страну. В качестве приданого, среди множества нарядов и украшений, есть и торжественное оплечье, хранящее особую тайну ее души — это небольшие морские камешки, собранные в счастливые беззаботные. времена. Обрамлённые и вставленные в украшение наравне со сверкающими камнями, они напоминают Анне о Ее корнях и истоках Ее Веры.
Первые ассоциации от просмотра новой коллекции Сваровски 16/17: царское, декоративное, богатое, древнее. Далее ассоциативный ряд бросил в средневековье, в пышные залы дворцов и наряды принцесс, а затем уже в византийские храмы с золотыми мозаиками, которые кое- где не сохранились и обнажили голые каменные стены — основу всего строения.
Именно эти яркие и такие проникновенные изображения , созданные из блестящих кусочков стекла и шероховатой фактуры осыпавшейся от времени штукатурки, соединили воедино всю концепцию: бисер, кристалл Rhombus Tribe, камни и «истоки».

Работая над этим колье в Византийском стиле, я очень хотела показать мозаичную фактуру — поэтому мой выбор пал на необычный для вязаных жгутов японский бисер Hexagon, декоративным и центральным элементом стал красный кристалл Rhombus Tribe напоминающий крест. Пять жгутов, связанных из 160 гр гранёного бисера, с градиентом в цветах мозаик и каменных стен храма, украшены асимметрично расположенными маленькими кристаллами Xirius Chaton в новых таинственных цветах Lacquer Ivory Cream и Lacquer Dark Grey и светлыми камешками , собранными на побережье Средиземного моря.
P.S. Ещё один исторический факт, пленивший меня: именно с появлением византийской царевны на Руси стали в почёте стеклянные украшения 🙂

The first association of the new collection Swarovski 17/18 is royal, decorative, rich, ancient. Further the associative array led me to the Middle Ages, to the magnificent halls of palaces and princess’s clothes, and then to the Byzantine churches with golden mosaics, which have not been preserved in some places, and now bare their stone walls — the basis of all the construction.
Exactly these bright and soulful images created by brilliant pieces of glass, rough texture of plaster crumbled with the time, combine together the whole concept: beads, «Rhombus Tribe» crystal, stones and the origins.

Working at this necklace in the Byzantine style, I really wanted to show the mosaic texture — so, my choice fell on Japanese beads «Hexagon» which are not so typical for beaded crochet rope.
The red crystal «Rhombus Tribe» that resembles a cross has become the decorative and central element. Five beaded crochet ropes of 160 grams faceted beads with a gradient colours of mosaics and stone walls of the temples are decorated with asymmetrically disposed «Xirius Chaton» small crystals in new «Lacquer Ivory Cream» and «Lacquer Dark Grey» mysterious colours and light pebbles collected on the Mediterranean coast.
P.S. Another historical fact that has captivated me is that the popularity of glass decorations in Russia is connected with the name of the Byzantine princess!
