Исходя из конкурсов прошлых лет, я понимала, что его тема будет такая же, как и название новой коллекции Сваровски, а именно «Открываясь будущему». С высокой долей вероятности многие затронут тему карантина и вируса. Но мне захотелось рассказать о том, что важно в будущем для моей страны. Я хотела сделать работу про Беларусь. Когда начались жуткие события лета 2020 было сложно, эмоции зашкаливали. Меня начало раздражать всё, что связано с красным и белым цветом. Не потому, что я была за диктаторство, а потому, что, глядя на эти цвета, иногда казалось, что они просто стали модными, что не все понимают их смысл.
Концепция работы менялась несколько раз за время изготовления сумочки. Всё, что я знала изначально это то, что я хотела ангела, и чтобы вышивка не казалась плоской. Образ ангела мне навеяли белорусские девушки, которые пели песни и танцевали с цветами сражаясь за Свободу.
В будущем…в своём и своей страны я вижу свободу, вижу ангела, который наконец расправил крылья и парит над Беларусью. В этом будущем нет места гонениям, унижениям, страху, репрессиям и жестокости. Есть только любовь, красота и свобода. Я загадала, что как только я полностью закончу и отправлю сумочку на конкурс, то диктатура рухнет)
И даже несмотря на то, что я уехала жить в другую страну, я всё равно храню тепло и любовь к родине, скрытую под «крышкой» от чужих взглядов.
Based on the contests of previous years, I understood that its theme would be the same as the name of the new Swarovski collection, namely “Embracing the next”. With a high degree of probability, many will touch upon the topic of quarantine and the COVID-19. However, I wanted to talk about what is important in the future for my country. I wanted to do a work about Belarus. When the terrible events of summer 2020 began, it was difficult; emotions went out of a scale. Everything about red and white started to annoy me. Not because I was for dictatorship, but because, looking at these colors, it sometimes seemed that they just became fashionable, that not everyone understands their meaning.
The concept of work has changed several times during the manufacture of the bag. All I knew initially was that I wanted an angel and that the embroidery did not seem flat. Belarusian girls who sang songs and danced with flowers fighting for Freedom inspired the image of an angel.
In the future … in my own and in my country I see freedom, I see an angel who finally spread his wings and soars over Belarus. In this future, there is no place for persecution, humiliation, fear, repression, and cruelty. There is only love, beauty, and freedom. I made a guess that as soon as I completely finish and send my work to the competition, the dictatorship will collapse)
Moreover, even in spite of the fact that I left to live in another country, I still keep warmth and love to my homeland, hidden under the «cover» from other people’s views.
