Наверное, как и многие, я озадачилась темой конкурса. Племена, мотивы… что я могла бы сказать на эту тему, чтобы не повториться? На ум не пришло ничего дельного. Но вот истоки заинтересовали меня куда больше, т. к. эта тема сложнее, и идеи к ней не лежат на поверхности. Что было до меня? Что останется после меня? Можно сказать, что я принадлежу к северным народам. Что было, когда жили они? Холод, почти постоянная зима, непроходимые сугробы и… северное сияние. Пожалуй, единственное, что не менялось с течением веков. На мой взгляд, это одна из составляющих истоков — именно то, что было до тебя и будет после тебя еще многие века; ведь для следующих поколений и мы когда-нибудь станем истоками.

Всё колье — это и есть моё видение северного сияния.

As many participants I thought very carefully about the contest theme. Tribes, motives… what could I say in order not to be… ordinary? Nothing special came to my mind. But our past (our roots, if you want) interested me a little more because this theme is more difficult to represent, and ideas aren’t so obvious. What was before me? What will remain after me? They can say that I belong to the North nationalities. What did they see during their lives? Cold, an almost permanent Winter, impassable snowdrifts and… Nothern lights. Perhaps it’s the only thing which stayed the same for many centures. In my opinion, it’s one of the origin componets — namely such a thing that was before you and will after you. If to think, we are to become origins for the next generation as well.
