Размышляя над темой нового конкурса «Я», я подумала что же представляет это самое «Я». Это наш опыт и поступки на его основе. Приобретая этот опыт, мы совершаем открытия, преодолеваем препятствия. Символы же открытия и одновременно препятствия, это двери, порталы, врата. Закрытые двери мы воспринимаем как ограничения, изоляцию, безопасность и тайну. Напротив, двери открытые, это новые возможности и впечатления, свобода и риск. Открывать или нет – каждый решает сам.
Так и возникла идея сумочки «Портал». Сумочка выполнена в смешанной технике – работа с кожей, вышивка.

Meditating on the topic of the new competition “Me”, I thought about what this “Me” actually is. It is our experience and deeds performed having been based on it. Acquiring this experience, we make discoveries, overcome difficulties. The symbols of some discovery and an obstacle at the same time are doors, portals, gates. We interpret a closed door as a restriction, isolation, safety and mystery. On the contrary, an opened door symbolizes new opportunities, impressions, freedom and risks. To open or not to open – it`s up to an individual.
That is how the idea of a purse “PORTAl”
came to me. It is made in a mixed technique – involving leather, embroidery.
