Свадебный корсет.
Я очень люблю кристаллы Swarovski с самого детства, когда в аэропорту, в зоне duty free, можно было прилипнуть носом к стеклу павильона Swarovski и рассматривать эти магические переливы.
Также я очень люблю валяние, потому что заранее никогда не знаешь, в какие причудливые узоры свернутся в процессе волокна шелка, хлопка, вискозы и др.
Когда была объявлена тема летнего конкурса и обнародован конкурсный набор кристаллов, то я поняла, что этим кристаллам место как минимум на свадебном платье и на меньше я не имею право их пришивать)
Так родилась идея этого свадебного корсета.
В чудных хитросплетениях войлока и вышивки мне видится звездное небо с туманностями и созвездиями.
В корсете использована итальянская мериносовая шерсть, шелк-эксельсиор, волокна шелка и хлопка, шелковый очес и многое другое. Расшит корсет кристаллами, ксилионами и жемчугом Swarovski, японским винтажным бисером и пайетками.
When i was just a young girl i remember pushing my nose against the Swarovski glass storefront. Peering into the incredible glimmer of various crystals, it felt like a chapter out some fairy tale that my mother used to read me. This love for handmade has taken me into felt making, which is like diving into the deep end of a shimmering ocean. One can never predict the weaves and patterns that may be born within the fabric as it transforms from wool into felt. When the summer contest was announced along with the crystals to be used, i realized that these incredible glass gems can marvel nothing less than a wedding gown, gracefully hugging the sikly skin of a newlywed. My imagination stopped on an idea for a wedding corset, and within, is an interweaving felt fabric and embroidery. Like the world above us, it reminds me of a starry sky with nebulas and galaxies dancing together in a cosmic rush.
The corset uses italian merino wool, silk ecselsior, silk and cotton fibers, silk strips, and other materials. It is emroidered with Swarovski crystals, gems and pearls, Japanese vintage beads and paillettes. I hope you have as much inspiration looking at it, as I had creating it.
