Принимаю участие в конкурсе от Greenbird при поддержке Swarovski в первый раз.
Как только увидела какие материалы и в каком цвете должны быть использованы в работе, так сразу возникла идея, что именно я буду творить! А всему виной крупный, круглый, ярко красного цвета кристалл. Ещё в древности красный цвет означал красивый, почётный, ценный. Всем нам знакомы выражения «красна девица», «красно солнышко», «лето красное», указывающие на красоту человека, природы и окружающего мира в целом. Вот поэтому мне пришла идея сделать для любой из нас красной девицы красно зеркальце.
Чуть изменю слова из сказки А.С. Пушкина «О мёртвой царевне и о семи богатырях»:
«Красно зеркальце! скажи
Да всю правду доложи:
Я ль на свете всех милее,
Всех румяней и белее?»
Ну, а какое же красно зеркальце без узоров народной росписи? Поэтому придумала орнамент, в котором вышиты цветы, символизирующие весну и красоту. Зеркальце получилось волшебным, оно имеет личико и улыбается вам!
This is my first time participating in @greenbird’s contest sponsored by Swarovski.
I have immediately come up with an idea what exactly I would create, as soon I have noticed what materials should be used and what colour should be introduced!
The large, round, bright red crystal was my inspiration!
Red colour means beautiful, honourable and valuable from the ancient times.
We are all familiar with the expressions «red sun» and «red summer” that directly points out the human beauty, the nature and the surrounding world itself.
Therefore, I have come up with the idea to create a red mirror that will reflect the beauty of every single girl.
I will slightly change the words from A.S. Pushkin’s fairy-tale «The tale of the dead princess and the seven knights»:
“Tell me, red glass
Nothing but the truth, I ask:
Who in all the world is fairest
And has beauty is the rarest?»
No red mirror could be complete without gorgeous traditional folk ornaments!
Therefore, I have come up with the idea of embroidered flowers as a symbol of spring and beauty.
The mirror turned out to be absolutely magical, it seems that it has a pretty face and it smiles at you right now!
