Горжет – часть старинных доспехов, предназначенная для защиты шеи и горла, то есть, по сути, воротник, охраняющий нашу свободу дыхания и голос.
9 августа 2020 года у белорусов украли их голоса, и им пришлось защищать то, что им дорого. После прошлогодних событий весь мир узнал, какие смелые люди живут в Беларуси.
Листья арбуза оплетают горжет, символизируя прошлое. Но поверх них уже пробиваются невероятные фантазийные цветы. Как самый упорный одуванчик, эти цветы пробиваются через асфальт, оставляя глубокие трещины – это стремление к жизни ничем не оставновить. Листья и цветы создают органичный орнамент, показывая, как все события вплетаются в единую историю.
Узнав о цветовой композиции конкурсного набора, я ни секунды не сомневалась, на какую тему делать работу. Ведь та несправедливость, что и по сей день происходит, не может оставить равнодушным ни одного современного здравомыслящего человека.
Горжет символизирует красоту и храбрость, гармонию и справедливость. Как предмет из волшебной сказки, он таит в себе волшебную силу и напоминает, что всё обязательно закончится хорошо.

On August 9, 2020, votes of Belarusians were stolen, and people had to defend what was important for them — their core values. After the last year’s events, the world found out how brave Belarusians are.
The leaves of the watermelon twine surround the gorget, symbolizing the past. But on top of them, the incredible fantasy flowers are already making their way. Like the most stubborn dandelions, these flowers make their way through the asphalt, leaving deep cracks on it with the unstoppable desire for life. Leaves and flowers create the organic ornament, illustrating how all events are being woven into a single story.
When I learned about the color composition of the competition set, I had not the slightest doubt about what topic I would use to work on. After all, the injustice that goes on till nowadays cannot leave indifferent any modern and sane person.
Gorget symbolizes beauty and courage, harmony and justice. As an object from a fairy tale, it harbors magical power and reminds that the story MUST have the happy end.
