Благородный белый — именно так переводится с немецкого языка «Эдельвейс». Белоснежный альпийский цветок был символом компании Swarovski до 1988 года, а после был заменён на другое олицетворение благородства и чистоты — лебедя. Оба этих символа нашли себе место на моей шкатулке, демонстрирующей всю красоту и переливы кристаллов Swarovski.

Использован абсолютно весь предложенный набор кристаллов — более того, в композиции нашла себе место даже памятная наклейка, шедшая в подарок к набору. Основную ее часть я превратила в кабошон, украшающий крышку, а углы использовала в качестве переливающейся подложки под прозрачные кристаллы.

В работе встретились самые разнообразные техники, в том числе и новые для меня — плетение, вышивка, заливка, инкрустация… Все три эдельвейса в композиции съемные и являются полноценными украшениями — брошью и серьгами.

Snow-white alpine flower was the symbol of the Swarovski company until 1988, and after that it was replaced by another personification of nobility and purity — the swan. Both of these symbols found their place on my jewelry box, demonstrating all the beauty and shine of Swarovski crystals.

Absolutely the entire proposed set of crystals was used — moreover, even a commemorative sticker that went as a gift to the set found a place in the composition. I turned the main part of it into a cabochon that adorns the lid, and used the corners as an iridescent substrate for transparent crystals.

A wide variety of techniques were used in the work, including absolutely new for me — beadweaving, embroidery, filling, incrustation… All three edelweisses in the composition are removable and are full-fledged jewelry — a brooch and earrings.
