«По морям вокруг земли» — так называлась любимая детская энциклопедия. Впервые увидев Kite Fancy Stone, я сразу представила розу ветров или так называемую «розу компаса». Роза ветров – это символ морских приключений, знак, появившийся в те времена, когда прокладывались знаменитые морские пути, огромные плавучие конструкции с романтическими и звучными названиями отправлялись в дальние странствия, когда человек начал покорение океанов. Моё детство прошло на Черном море с мечтами о приключениях и морских кладах, а роза ветров украшала поля тетради по географии все годы учебы. Моё колье – это эпоха великих географических открытий, морских легенд и мечты о регате под парусами, затонувшие клады и ловцы жемчуга со средиземноморских островов.

The very first glance at Kite Fancy Stone brought the image of a wind rose (or the so-called compass rose) to my mind.
A wind rose is the symbol of sea adventures. The sign appeared at the times of paving famous seaways, at the times when huge sonoriously named floating constructions started their distant voyages, when people began conquering the oceans.
I spent my childhood at the Black Sea shore dreaming of sea adventures and treasures. Throughout my school years I used to draw wind roses on the margins of my geography notebooks.
Thus, this necklace symbolizes the Age of Discovery, sea legends and dreams of a sailing regatta, treasures buried under the seas and the pearl fishers from Mediterranean Isles.
