На мой взгляд, тему конкурса очень хорошо раскрывают две стихии, Огонь и Вода — две вечные противоположности. Два союзника, два противника, две противоположности одной сущности.  Огонь — это символ жизненной энергии, символ тепла и солнца… Вода — является одним из основных источников жизни на нашей планете. Сразу вспоминаются строки из  романа в стихах «Евгений Онегин» А.С.Пушкина:

… Они сошлись.
Волна и камень,
Стихи и проза,
лед и пламень.

Колье выполнено в виде двух образов, олицетворяющих духов этих стихий. Несмотря на всё различие в темпераменте, мне видится большая схожесть в изображении их волн и пламени. В данной работе, при помощи плетения, хотелось подчеркнуть текучесть воды и отобразить переливы огня от ярко-алых цветов в золотисто-оранжевые оттенки. Кристаллы из новой коллекции Swarovski легли в основу головного убора (венца) обоих духов, а новые оттенки кристалов Scarlet и Light Sapphire Shimmer задали тон колье. Колье выполнено в различных техниках плетения и вышивки, а так же в нем использовано множество различных оттенков и размеров бисера, пайеток, кристаллов и жемчуга Swarovski.

In my opinion, the theme of the contest is very well revealed by the two elements, Fire and Water — two eternal opposites. Two ally, two enemies, two opposites of one essence. Fire is a symbol of life energy, a symbol of warmth and sun … Water is one of the main sources of life on our planet. The lines from the novel in the poems «Eugene Onegin» by Alexander Pushkin come quickly to mind:

… They came together.
Wave and stone,
Poems and prose,
ice and flame.

The necklace is made in the form of two images, personifying the spirits of these elements. Despite all the difference in temperament, I see great similarity in the image of their waves and flames.  In this necklace, I wanted to emphasize the fluidity of water and show the flashes of fire from bright scarlet flowers to golden-orange hues with the help of bead weaving elements. Crystals from the new Swarovski collection formed the basis for the headgear (crown) of both spirits, and the new shades of Scarlet and Light Sapphire Shimmer crystals set the tone of the necklace. The necklace is made in various techniques of bead weaving and embroidery, also I used a lot of different shades and sizes of beads, sequins, crystals and Swarovski pearls.
